Need for Speed II is an amazing car racing video game
released in 1997 for PC users. It is a part of the Need for Speed series and is
the second part in the series. In this game the roads are based on daydreamt or
overstated race courses in otherwise actual settings around the world. In one
course cars race through a Hollywood movie set while in a new cars race along
the edge of the Himalayan mountain range. Need for Speed II allows players to
race striking cars, either against computer controlled challengers or human adversaries
via a LAN, modem or in split screen. There are three different gameplay modes,
Single Race mode in which a player only selects a car and a course and finishes
a single race. In this mode, the player can modify both the number and type of challengers
as well as the number of circuits to be finished. Tournament Mode in which the
player must complete a series of races successfully to reveal a bonus car. The
Knockout Mode contains on a series of 2 lap races with 8 challengers, the last place
